In this current time of crisis many will be confused as to what happens when a death has occurred. Please rest assured that we at Eaton Funeral Homes are still here for you to offer guidance and comfort in your time of need.
To immediate family members, please call us. We know what to do. We will take care of you and your loved one. We will meet with you via telephone, email, and if the need arises, in person. We will help plan your services following the current guidelines set forth and we will update our protocol as directed by Massachusetts and the White House. We will minimize exposure as much as possible to ensure the health and well being of your family and our staff.
For everyone else please phone your family and friends who have suffered a loss so they know they are not alone during this unprecedented time. Offer love and support, leave a condolence on our website, donate to the suggested charity, but most of all, remain in touch. These gifts of sympathy and charity are beyond measure and will give the family the comfort and courage they need to face each new day.
Under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA is providing financial assistance for COVID-19 related funeral expenses incurred after January 20, 2020.
