Ann M. (Morton) McKeown

Ann M. (Morton) McKeown, of Sudbury, formerly of Needham, passed away on Sunday, June 17th at Wingate at Sudbury. She was78 years old. Born in Gloucester, the daughter of the late Arnold and MaryJean (Poirier) Morton. Ann was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1958 and attended the Chandler School for Women. She was the switchboard operator for the town of Needham School Department for 35 years, retiring in 2003. Ann was a loving beautiful person who was loved by all who knew her. She loved being a grandmother and was a loving mother and provider for her 3 sons growing up. Ann was the loving mother of Dean A. McKeown, Adam M. McKeown and his wife Molly and the late William James "Jamie" McKeown, Jr., and the cherished "Gamma" to Carly and Dylan. A Private graveside service will be held at Needham Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in celebrating Ann's life on Saturday afternoon, June 23rd, from 12noon until 4 at the Union Street Restaurant, 107R Union St, Newton Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451.
