Anton 'Tony" Secheyco

Anton “Tony” Secheyco, 92, of Needham, formerly from Newton Upper Falls, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, in his sleep at his home. Born in Newton, the son of the late Wasily Secheyco and Mary Secheyco, he was a graduate of Newton Technical High School as a Tool Maker and worked for the Raytheon Co. in Waltham for many years and retired from Harvard Apparatus in Millis. He enjoyed working around his house and yard and helping out at the Second Baptist Church in Newton Upper Falls where he was a long-time Deacon. He was the husband of the late Laurice (Ferran) Secheyco for 45 years. He leaves his step-son Ray A. Webb, Jr and his wife, Janet, of Bellingham, his brother, Joseph Secheyco of Newton Upper Falls, his step-grandchildren, Michael Webb and his wife, Robyn, of California, Lisa McNamara and her husband, James, of Upton and Beth Niarchos and her husband, Michael, of Marshfield and five step-great-grandchildren, his primary caretaker for the last four and a half years, Stephen Worjohl, as well as, many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all. Tony was predeceased by his step-son Richard L. Webb, two sisters, Anne and Julia, and four brothers, Walter, Peter, John and Alex. A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, January 31st at 12 noon, concluding with Military Honors.  Visiting hours in will be held on Thursday morning from 10 to 12 noon, prior to the service. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Second Baptist Church, 65 Ellis St. Newton Upper Falls, MA 02464.
