Bruna A. Porreca

Bruna A. (Sacchetti) Porreca 83, of Needham died on Friday May 23rd at her home in Needham. Born in Quincy Bruna had been a resident of Needham for many years. In the early sixties Bruna worked for RCA formerly of Needham for many years and later went to work for Filenes. In the early 70's Bruna worked at the Lodge in Newton until she retired in 1989. Bruna was the beloved wife of Orlando J. for 63 years. Loving mother of Paul J. and his wife Carol of Marlboro, Richard J. and his wife Linda of Needham and Ronald P. and his fiancée Patricia Donovan of Needham. Sister of Olga Porreca of Norfolk, Amelia Evangelista of Quincy and Evo Sacchetti of Milton. Bruna is also survived by her 5 grandchildren. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Wednesday May 28th at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew Church at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Needham. Memorials in Bruna's memory may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St. Newton MA 02468.
