Carole E. Halloran of Dedham passed away on December 22, 2018. She was born on June 29, 1935, daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret (Quinn) Halloran of Newton MA . She is survived by her Sister Mary Hay and her husband David of Natick MA . She was predeceased by her 6 brothers Lawrence and David of Waltham, Richard of Natick, Kenneth of Holliston, Stephen of Sudbury, Robert of Acton and her sister Margaret Trott of Sudbury. She also is predeceased by her friend and longtime companion Jeanne Makela. She leaves 29 nieces and nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
Carole graduated from Newton High School in 1953. She then went on to Graduate from Boston University, School of Sargent College and graduated in 1957 with a BS degree in Physical Education. It was there, where she found a circle of classmates, who formed a unique bond remaining close lifelong friends. Sargent Spirit is a forever thing. In 1966, they awarded her with their Special Award she was and inducted her into the Twiness Society for her active role in the alumni. Carole’s career began at Brockton High School. After a short time, she transferred to Watertown as a Physical Education at East Junior High in Watertown. She taught Phys Ed for 14 years, and then after receiving her Masters in Guidance at Boston State College she transferred to Watertown High , as a Guidance Counselor at Watertown High for 24 years.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Chapel of St Patrick’s Manor 863 Central St Framingham for a visiting hour on Thurs Dec 27 beginning at 10 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
