Gail M. (nee McGuiness) Sostilio

Gail M.  (nee McGuinness) Sostilio, of Ocala Florida died on October 24, 2018. She was born on October 27, 1943 in Boston, the daughter of Francis and Esther McGuinness of Newton, Massachusetts.  Gail attended schools in Newton and Framingham. After high school she worked as a professional print and runway model.

            Gail was married to the late Robert F. Sostilio for 51 years. Avid travelers, they lived in Florida, New Jersey and California, and made many cross-country journeys by car exploring the backroads of America. Gail was a parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala. An avid gardener, she was known for her ability to cultivate rare orchids.

Gail is survived by her niece Lisa Parlagreco and her husband, Charles McGinty of Newton, Massachusetts, her grandnieces Isabel and Gabrielle McGinty and her grandnephew Michael McGinty.

Visitation will be held on Saturday November 3, 2018 from 9:15 to 10:15 AM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre Street, NEWTON CORNER followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, Newton Centre at 10:30 AM. Internment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
