Gertrude E. Osborne

Gertrude E. Osborne, 94, passed away on Aug, 27, 2018 in West Palm Beach, FL.  She was formerly of Palm Harbor, FL and Needham, MA. Mrs. Osborne was a past President of the American Legion Auxiliary of Post #14 in Needham.

She was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed ceramics, playing mah jong, dominoes and rummikub with her friends and family.

The beloved wife of the late Lawrence D. Osborne, Jr., she was the loving mother of Lawrence D. Osborne III and his wife Laura of Shrewsbury and Lynne Bacchiochi and her husband Alan of Singer Island, FL and the late Ann Davis. Dear grandmother of her five grandchildren; Tracey Pitocchelli, Terry Sullivan and his wife Jennifer, Julie Wright and her husband Jeff, Keith Osborne and his wife Kristen and Kelsey Davis. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.

A service will be held on Sat., Oct. 13th at 3 pm at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Village Club in Needham. Interment at Needham Cemetery is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The National MS Association or the National Brain Tumor Society.
