Jeanne M. (Ficcardi) Sauro

Jeanne M. (Ficcardi) Sauro, of Mansfield passed away from complications of breast cancer on June 15, 2018.
Jeanne was the mother of Catherine and Nicholas Sauro both of Medfield and sister of Elinor "Ellie" Jarvis and husband Tony of Millis, Mary Ficcardi and wife Chris of Mashpee and Frank Ficcardi and wife Katie of Medfield. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara (Kay) Ficcardi of Needham. Jeanne was born and raised in Needham and graduated for Needham High in 1976 and Mt. Ida College in 1979. She was a passionate patient advocate and activist for Medical Cannabis Patients, a member of the Mass Patient Advocacy Alliance of Boston and Americans for Safe Access of Washington DC and was also a member of Franklin Lodge No. 2136 BPOE. Jeanne loved gardening and interior design. She loved her flowers and decorating her home as well as other people's homes. She also loved cooking, entertaining, music and dancing, Boston sports, especially following her beloved New England Patriots.

Visiting hours for Jeanne will be held on Mon June 18 from 4-8 PM in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her life will be held on Tues at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church Needham.
Burial will be private.
