Patricia A (Turney) Lockhart

Patricia A. (Turney) Lockhart of Wareham formerly of Dover died on Mar 7, 2019.  She was 82.

Patricia was raised in Needham and graduated from Needham High. She had worked for over 20 years in the Dover public schools and retired as a teacher’s aid from the Caryl School. She was a member of St Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Dover where she served on the altar guild. She was also a member of the Dover American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hats in Wareham.

She was the wife of the late Robert J. “Sammy” Lockhart and the loving mother of Donna Elbery of Millis and the late Robert J. Lockhart Jr. Dear grandmother of Robert T. Elbery of Millis. Sister of Karen Simpson and John Turney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tues Mar 12 at 11 AM in St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church 18 Springdale Ave.  Dover followed by interment in Highland Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Mon 4-6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Patricia may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute – Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
