Ruth Ann (Love) Osachuk

Ruth Ann (Love) Osachuk, 95, passed away peacefully at her home at The Brigham House in Watertown on August 28, 2018. Born in Worcester April 22,1923, she was the daughter of Robert Blake Love and Ruth (Skinner) Love. Ruth married Leon (Chuck) Osachuk of Milford April 2, 1946.  Moving frequently while Chuck was in the Navy and then because of his medical career they finally settled in Lancaster, MA in 1963 with their 2 children. Ruth and Chuck were very active members of the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Clinton, MA. Ruth also loved sports and enjoyed playing tennis and golf.  She was also a very accomplished artist.  She studied under Dorothy Rand and at the Worcester Art Museum.  She had several art shows and sold many of her beautiful landscapes.Ruth and Chuck retired to Sandwich MA in 2001 where they continued to play golf, follow the Red Sox and entertain their Grandchildren. After Chuck’s passing in 2016, Ruth moved to Watertown to be near her daughter. Ruth is survived by her two children, Jean Osachuk of Belmont and Michael Osachuk of Leominster and her Grandchildren Brittany and Erik. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 17 at 11:00 am at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 9 Russell Ave, Watertown.  Burial will be private.
