Sarah A. (Cooke) Gillis

 Sarah A. (Cooke) Gillis of Needham, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Raised in Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Moore) Cooke. Sarah was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Gillis and the loving mother of Richard J. and Alan C. Gillis both of Uxbridge and Janet E. Reyes of Tyngsboro. Sister of Margaret Hutchinson of Needham. Dear grandmother of Samantha, Amanda and Andrew Reyes. A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, December 27th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Interment at Needham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarah’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd #200, Framingham, MA 01701.  Sarah was a longtime resident of Needham and she worked for Vita Needle in Needham for 31 years.
