William W. "Buzzy" Gallagher

William W. “Buzzy” Gallagher of Boston, formerly of Needham, died on Sunday, December 9, 2018, surrounded by loved ones, after a yearlong battle with Leukemia. Son of the late James S. and Isabel D. (Mutchler), Buzzy leaves his sister, Karen and her husband James Ahern, his brother John and his wife Maureen Gallagher, his sister Maureen Gallagher, his nieces Theresa Gallagher and Maryann Gallagher, his great niece Rose Gallagher and his great nephew Tristen Alexander.  Buzzy loved his many friends, his Harley Davidson motorcycles, memorabilia and estate sales. Buzzy worked as an HVAC technician for Babson College for 20 years. He was a giant, gentle and most kind person, and will be greatly missed by many.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Friday, December 14th at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Buzzy’s name may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 70 Walnut Street, Suite 301, Wellesley, MA 02481.
