William Greig Griffin

William G. Griffin of Newton, MA and Meredith, NH, died on Nov 18, 2018. He was 74.

He loved his family above all else and was looking forward to the birth of his granddaughter. He especially loved his time with family and dear friends on LEDGE ISLAND, as well as skiing hiking, and scuba diving.

He graduated college from Clarkson University and received his masters from Stephens Institute of Technology.

He worked at GTE for 30 years where he was a leader in the management of GTE laboratories.

He was the beloved husband of Anne (Murray) Griffin and loving father of Robert Johnston Griffin of Washington DC and Katharine Anne Krauss and her husband Robert of Marina Del Rey, CA. Brother of Sanford Griffin and wife Cindi of South Carolina and uncle of Scott and Sandy Griffin. Brother in law of James Murray and Ivan Luci of Santa Monica, CA, Robert Murray and his wife Unn and uncle to their children Brian, Katrina, Evan and Erik of Bethlehem, NH and Norway.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Mon Nov 26 from 4-7 PM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner. Funeral services will be private.
