Adam W. Szetela of West Roxbury formerly of Newton Upper Falls passed away on Nov 28, 2022. He was 70.
Adam was born in Poland and came to the US as a child and was raised in Newton Upper Falls. He was a graduate of Newton High School and had worked for the City of Newton Highway Dept for over 35 years. Adam loved riding his motorcycle, attending his sons’ wrestling matches, playing chess and all New England sports. He also enjoyed western movies, Blues music, and Tupac Shakur, and hanging out with his friends at “The Depot” coffee shop in Pettee Square, Newton Upper Falls.
Adam is survived by his former wife Suzanne Szetela, his sons Adam and Travis Szetela, and his sister Krystyna Deschambeault. He was the son of the late Wladyek and Janet Szetela and brother of the late John Szetela.
A visiting hour will begin at 10 AM on Thurs Dec 1 at 10 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham. Interment with US Army Military Honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Needham.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Adam’s name to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 160 Wells Ave Newton, MA 02459, would be appreciated.
