Adeline (Skalecki) DeMeis

Adeline (Skalecki) DeMeis, of Needham, formerly of Westwood and Brooksville FL, died on Sunday March 6, 2011 at the Stanley R. Tippett House in Needham. She was 92 years old. Born in New York, Adeline was the daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Meder) Skalecki. Mrs. DeMeis was an accomplished Oil Painter. She had been a Needham resident for the past 4 ½ years and previously had lived in Westwood forabout 15 years. The beloved wife of the late Louis J. DeMeis, she was the loving mother of Richard and his wife Mia DeMeis of Needham and Raymond and his wife Pamela of Milford PA. Dear grandmother of Jude DeMeis of Northampton and Matthew and his wife Jennifer DeMeis of North Scituate RI and great grandmother of Noah, Finn and Emmett. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday, March 11 at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Adeline’s name may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
