It was a cold day; March 31st, 1933 and to excited parents, Albert & Stella Rossi their 1st child; a son was born and they named him, Albert Hugo Rossi. Albert & Stella's family grew. Leah Amelia then Kenneth were the three beautiful children of Stella & Albert Rossi.
Albert Hugo Rossi graduated from Needham and attended Cushing Academy in Asburnham, MA. Albert loved being at Cushing Academy and later volunteered for the Army. He was a great soldier and was sent to Korea during the war.
On returning home after the Korean War he was honorably discharged from the Army. Like any Blue Blooded American young man, Albert attended the Saturday night dances that were held in Needham, and he soon saw and wooed beautiful Mary Antonellis. Albert & Mary wed and were the proud parents of David and Judith.
Albert & Mary were left broken-hearted over the sudden early death of their son, David.
Albert chose to work in his father’s construction business and in later years he started his own construction business; ROSSI Construction. Albert took pride in his business and there was nothing too hard for him to do. He snowplowed the streets of Needham numerous long, very cold & snowy nights.
Albert's loved many things. His family, food, fishing, boats, camping and the Patriots (when they lost - it was pure agony).
Albert's daughter Judith married Paul Salvucci and were the parents to a beautiful daughter; Albert's only grandchild, Diana.
Albert adored Diana. He attended her swimming events, visited her at her college campus and was excited & proud of her achievements. Albert loved to boast about Judith's cooking, her decorating abilities and skill of being a beautician and owning her business.
Albert Hugo Rossi is preceded in death by his parents Albert & Stella Rossi, his son David Rossi, his wife Mary Rossi.
Albert lived to a ripe old age of 91 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his sister Leah Ryan, his brother Kenneth Rossi, his daughter Judith Salvucci, son-in-law Paul Salvucci and only grandchild Diana Salvucci. Also mourning his loss are a host of cousins including Ronald & his wife Ginger Rossi and many others. Several nieces & nephews and his companion Esther Chandler.
Albert had a full life! He loved life. Albert was funny, he had a sharp tongue, held nothing back - he just let you have it. He was kind, he helped less fortunate people and loved travelling, flea markets and fine dining.
What can I say....
