Alice Mae (Lawlor) Garron

Alice Mae (Lawlor) Garron of Dennis and St. Petersburg FL, formerly of Wellesley and Needham died on Wednesday, May 11 2011. Mrs. Garron was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1942. She worked for New England Telephone (Nynex) from 1945 to 1972. Mrs. Garron lived in Wellesley for 49 years and in Dennis for 18 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was the loving mother of Cheryl M. Garron of Marshfield, Sandra Savery of Beaufort, SC, Jo-Ann Kellett of Framingham, Laurie D’Angelo of Millville and William A. Garron Jr. of Needham. Sister of the late Ruth L. Coppinger. The grandmother of 10, she is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Tuesday, May 17at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Tuesday morning from10 to 11:15 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Alice’s name may be made to VNA Care Network and Hospice, 5 Federal St. Danvers MA 01923, with special thanks to Arza, Chana and Juliette of the Needham team.
