Anne Dennehy, age 82, long-time resident of Brighton, formerly of County Galway, Ireland, passed away peacefully, on Dec 22, 2021, surrounded by her children after a courageous yearlong battle with esophageal cancer.
Devoted wife to the late Robert Dennehy and loving mother to Michael Dennehy and wife Sharon of Quincy, Cecile Maggiacomo of Salisbury, Tom Dennehy and wife Rochell of Marlborough, Deborah Dennehy Malatantis of Germany, and Neil Dennehy and wife Nancy of Northborough. Beloved grandmother to Olivia, Sarah and Robert Maggiacomo, Allison and Morgan Dennehy, Maya Malatantis, Tiberius Dennehy, and Abigail and Amelia Dennehy. Sister to Bridget Murray and husband Vincent, Mary Craffey and her partner Ted Williams, the late Malachi Quinn, the late Angela Ryan and husband Eamon, Bernadette O’Flaherty and husband Eamon, Teresa Malatantis and husband George, and the late Thomas Quinn. She was also the aunt and grand aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 27 from 4-7 PM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner and her Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tues Dec 28 at 10:30 AM in St. Columbkille’s, Church, Brighton.
All attending the visiting hours and Mass are required to wear masks.
