Annette B. (Brown) Loeser

Annette B. Loeser, 87, formerly of Youngstown OH died peacefully Thursday morning, February 9th in Needham Massachusetts.
Mrs. Loeser was born August 21, 1924 in Rochester, NY. She graduated from Buffalo State Teacher's college with a degree in Home Economics and a proposal of marriage from her college sweetheart William D. Loeser. They married in June, 1945 and, after completing Dr. Loeser's military service in Norfolk Virginia, returned to Buffalo, NY where they began to raise a family. In 1958, with 3 children between the ages 5 and 8, they relocated to Youngstown and lived happily and actively in the Jewish community there. After completing post graduate work in nutrition at Kent State University, Mrs. Loeser joined the faculty of St. Elizabeth's Hospital School of Nursing. She particularly enjoyed coaching her nursing students how to interact with hospital patients and guide their nutritional choices. In 2003, after the death of her husband of 56 years, Mrs. Loeser moved to Weston, MA to be closer to her children.
Mrs. Loeser was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children, David Loeser of Needham, Ellen Loeser of Boston and Cindy Sandoval of San Francisco; daughter-in-law Jody Melman Loeser; son-in-law Antonio Sandoval; her sister Minnie Finestone of Rochester, NY, and five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 12th at 3:00 pm at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Ave. Needham, MA. Following the service visitation will be held at the home of David and Jody Loeser, 167 Tower Avenue, Needham until 7 PM Sunday night. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 72 East Concord Street, Boston, MA 02118
