Antoinette M. (Turco) Lucchese

Antoinette M. Lucchese, a long-time resident of Needham, passed away on November 16, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Lucchese. Devoted mother of Carmen Lucchese and his wife Marie of Woburn, Jo-Ann Lucchese of Rockport, and the late Linda Lucchese. Grandmother of Joseph, Matthew, Justin, Tayla, and great-grandmother of Connor, Jack, Joshua, and Gabriela Marie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Antoinette (also known as Toni and Netty) was born on December 7,1930 in East Boston to Anthony and Mary Turco. The family moved to Needham when she was in her teens. She graduated from Needham High School and, after graduation, started working at Carters in Needham. She went back to work part-time when her children got older, a job that turned into full-time work with the company, Consolidated Graphics. She stayed with them for decades.

At Carters, Antoinette met Joseph “Joe” Lucchese. They married after Joe got out of the service and moved into the house in Needham, where they brought up their children and grew old together. Antoinette lived in that house for almost 80 years. She loved the neighborhood. To her it was where she grew up with her parents, in the town where both her brothers John and Mario lived and where she raised her family. There were so many holidays, birthdays, and celebrations there, including the celebration of their 70th wedding anniversary in 2023.

She will be missed by her family and the many friends that she made over her lifetime.

A private service was held at Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Needham on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
