Aphrodite "Dolly" (Lambros) Couyou

Aphrodite "Dolly" (Lambros) Couyou, of Norwood, formerly of Needham, MA died on April 16, 2012. Dolly was born in Fall River, MA. She was a talented graphics artist before deciding to settle down and start a family in the 1950s. She enjoyed spending her summers on family vacations to Cape Cod and the White Mountains. A woman of uncommon optimism and spirit, she enjoyed the company of friends, and endeared herself to others with her easy-going manner. She loved attending church on Sundays, and cherished time spent with her family. The beloved wife of the late John M. Couyou, she was the loving mother of Betty Hannon of Needham, MA and Michael Couyou of Bedford, NH. Dear grandmother of John and Stephen Hannon. She is survived by her two brothers Charles Lambros of Needham, MA and James Lambros of Angleton, TX. Visitation hours will be on Thursday April 19, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave in Needham. A funeral service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown Street in Weston, MA on Friday April 20, at 10:00 AM.
