Barbara Brownell Obituary

Barbara Dale Brownell died peacefully at home on July 26, 2018. Barbara had many interests including cooking, photography, travel and visiting with friends. She loved Maine and spent summer vacations there her entire life. For many years, she worked at the Needham Community Council and was awarded the Honorable Leslie B. Cutler Service Award in 2016. Barbara is survived by her brother Rick and sister in law Lindy of Ridgewood NJ, her nephew Tim and his wife Yesenia of Maplewood NJ, her niece Julia and her husband Tristan of Silver Lake CA, her nephew Pete and his wife Amanda of Cranford NJ, grand nephews Alex, Jaxon and Miles and her beloved "birdies". A private family service will be held in Maine at a future date. The family requests that donations in her name be made to the Needham Community Council or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
