C. Gloria Monteith

Cora Gloria Monteith a longtime Needham resident died peacefully at home on September 8, 2021 at 95.

She was born in Brookline, graduated from Brookline High School and loved to talk about her hometown. Gloria was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and enjoyed working with the Alter Guild.  She also delivered and packaged lunches for Traveling Meals for many years.  Gloria loved all animals and especially enjoyed seeing birds at her feeder.

Gloria's late husband was Kenneth Monteith. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Mountain of Needham and son Bruce Monteith and his wife Candida of Truro. Her grandsons are Tyler and Christopher Mountain and his partner Erin Jade. Kyle (predeceased) and Craig Monteith and his partner Monica Mirabile. She had one great-grandson Otis Jade Mountain.

The burial will be private.
