Carlo P Civita of Millis, formerly of Dedham MA. Born March 27, 1934 in Dedham MA passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on March 19, 2025.
Carlo was the beloved husband of his wife Joyce (Pippo) Civita for 65 years until his passing. He was the loving father of his children, Carlo Civita, III (Skip) and wife Maryellen, Paul Civita, Dorothy Grady-Civita, Suzanne Civita-Cahill and her partner Brian. Loving Grandfather to Michael, Nicole, Julia, Danny and Nicholas and Great Granddaughter Harper.
Carlo was part of the Italian Kitchen Civita family-owned restaurant in Dedham for over 50 years. He served in the active army from 1956-1958 as an interpreter in Italy and in the US Army Reserves until 1962. He was a retired employee of Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office of 12 years. He was an active member of the Bay State Auto Club for over 50 years. Carlo was responsible for bringing the Auto Show to the Endicott Estate in Dedham and was Co-Chairman of the show for many years. He had a passion for Antique Cars, and travelling with his wife. Loved spending time with family and friends down Cape Cod.
A service and visitation will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham MA on Wednesday March 26, 2025 from 9:00-11:00am. Interment will follow immediately after at Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Needham MA.
