Carol Ann “Chuckie” Sewall was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and Auntie. She left this world suddenly on April 22, 2022, at age 79.
She was born to Robert and Anna Brown of Needham, MA on June 13, 1942. She was a 1960 graduate of Needham High School and after attending college at Boston University, she worked at Shawmut Bank for 13 years as an Operations Specialist and Thermal Environmental for over 12 years in the accounting department before retiring at an early age.
Carol leaves behind her loving husband, Frederick Sewall of Needham; daughter, Tawnia Marguerite of Boston and granddaughters Kayla and Jamie Marguerite of Franklin; Son, Troy Wicklund and his wife Nora and Grandaughter, Miranda of Lancaster, KY; David and Cindy Sewall, and their two children Nicholas and Josselyn of Needham and known to them as “Auntie”. In addition, she was “Aunt” to the Jeffrey McInerney Family of Dedham; the Peter Sparaco Family of Middletown, NJ and the William O’Brien Family of Needham and many other family members as well that had a special place in Carol’s heart!
Carol loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and friends. She was skilled at sewing, gardening and in her younger years an avid water skier. She loved to read and always had a good book to chat about. During the Christmas Season she spent time as a volunteer at the local Masonic tree sale. Quiet, humble in demeanor and always pulled together as though she was walking the runway!!
Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 1132 Highland Ave, Needham on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11am. Immediately following will be a reception at the Needham Masonic Hall, 1101 Highland Ave, Needham, MA. Private burial for immediate family will be at The Needham Cemetery.
