Carol A (Billings) McDonald

Carol Billings McDonald, 74 of Newton Upper Falls and Holbrook, passed away on Saturday, August 4th at South Shore Hospital. Carol graduated from Newton South High School in 1962 and during her lifetime worked for Honeywell Corp, New Balance, Comdex, and Canine College. A descendant of two passengers of the Mayflower, Carol spent her time volunteering with the Holbrook Historical Society, gardening, sewing, bird watching, and cooking. She is survived by her daughter Lauren McDonald (husband Randol Contreras); son Michael McDonald; nieces/nephews Bruce, Robin, Doug, Christine and Walter; great nieces/nephews Dakota, Mirabelle, Johanna, and Jack; and two sisters-in-law Karen Billings and Rose Huntley. Carol is predeceased by her two brothers Bruce Billings and Walter Billings. Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Wednesday, August 8th from 5-8 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Funeral Service will be held in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 906 N. Main Street, Brockton, on Thursday, August 9th at 11 am.
