Carole Landry Obituary

Carole D. Landry, 84, of Needham, June 5, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John E. Stefanoni. Cherished daughter of the late Edward F. Landry (MA) and Lucina D. Bergeron (NH). She leaves her dear brother, Edward of Springfield and his children Dale Landry, Dawn Theroux, and Megan Landry, cousin Frances Bliss of Chicopee, brother in law Edward of Easton, sister in law Janet Boyko and her husband, Walter "Sonny" of Hull. She also leaves her cherished Godsons, Patrick and John Curran and cherished Goddaughters, Sara and Anne MacLellan and their mother, Frances, her dear friend. She was the cherished friend of Pia and Ennio Arduino, Margie Kimball, Carolyn and Van Spiros, and their wonderful families. Also survived by many dear relatives, friends, cousins, and wonderful neighbors. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held  in St. Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Avce, Needham, on Thursday June 9th at 11AM. There will be no wake or formal visiting hours and interment is private. Relatives and dear friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carole’s name may be made to PETA or to the Defenders of Wildlife. Late graduate of Cathedral High School, American International College, and Middlebury College. Carole was incredibly dedicated to her career as a language teacher at Brookline High School and tutored many local students. Carole loved her dogs and animals of all kinds. She was an avid reader, fan of rock and roll music, longtime dogwalker, French speaker and was a strong advocate for the environment. She was a fixture in her neighborhood and considered her neighbors to be her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
