Charles Evans Aucoin passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born to Margaret Boudreau Aucoin and Howard Aucoin, Charles embodied their values of integrity, resilience, and quiet generosity. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and James Aucoin.
Charles earned his MBA from Babson College and built a successful career as an institutional stock broker. Yet his most enduring legacy was the life he built with his wife of 60 years, C. Jeanne Aucoin, and the family they raised together.
He is survived by Jeanne and their three daughters: Suzanne Gormley (David Gormley), Jeannine Stover (Matthew Stover), and Aimee Alexander (Robert Alexander). He was a proud grandfather to Maclin, Faye, Nell, and Lyle Stover; Eamon, Margaret, and Devlin Gormley; and Margo, Charles, and Maeve Alexander.
Charles was a man of few words and steady presence. He found joy in the simple rhythms of life—walking the shores of Drakes Island in Maine, a good book, a daily cigar on the deck, playing golf, and quietly delighting in the company of his grandchildren.
His legacy lives on in the lives he shaped and the family he loved.
Visitation will be in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner on Sat Oct 18 from 9:15 until 10:15 followed by His Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30. Interment will follow in Newton Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
