Charles Robert "Bob" Sprich

Charles Robert Sprich (Bob) passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021. He was 83. Devoted husband of Carolyn Sprich. He leaves his daughter, Susan Sprich and her partner Jean-Claude Paul, his son, Steven Sprich and his wife Gina Sprich. Cherished grandfather of Marissa Buckminster, Lauren Buckminster and Maya Sprich, and step-grandfather of Julien Paul and Gabriel Paul

He attended St. Louis Country Day School and went on to receive an undergraduate degree from MIT and a doctorate from Tufts University. He spent 39 years as a Professor of English and Media Studies at Bentley University, teaching literature and film. Always passionate about film, Bob was instrumental in saving the Coolidge Corner Theater and was a founding member of the Coolidge Corner Theater Foundation.

A Memorial Service held at Grace Episcopal Church 76 Eldrdge St Newton Corner on Sat May 21 at 2 PM.
