She began her career as a stenographer at the William Carter Company in Needham, MA. A teacher and artist at heart, Cheryl later founded Lakeside Ceramics & Embroidery, showcasing her creativity through local craft fairs and ceramics classes. She was also a skilled knitter and crocheter, generously gifting handmade blankets, hats, and scarves to family and friends.
In her younger years, Cheryl treasured her time at Long Beach in Rockport and sailing from Sandy Bay Yacht Club. She was an avid camper who spent many summers boating and relaxing with friends in New Hampshire, a place she continued to cherish throughout her life. Cheryl also found great purpose in service to others, volunteering with Meals on Wheels in Uxbridge and later providing dedicated companionship to those in need through Northern Human Services in New Hampshire.
Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Michelle Alexander and her husband Fred of Brewster, MA and Melissa Witkus and her husband David of Douglas, MA and by her cherished grandchildren Davin Alexander and fiancee Kayla Halloran, Colman Alexander, Cora Witkus, and Jackson Witkus who brought her tremendous pride and joy.
