Connie (Silvia) Cronin

Connie (Silvia) Cronin of Newtonville died at her home in Newton on Dec 15, 2001. She was 69.
Connie was born in New Bedford and raised in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. She graduated from New Bedford Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a charge nurse at the hospital on Martha's Vineyard and for many years as a registered nurse at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton and Middlesex County Hospital in Waltham. She had been a resident of Newton for over 35 years.
She was the beloved wife of Charles. B. Cronin, the loving mother of Christopher B. of Newtonville and Colin B. of Hyannis and the grandmother of Alexis and Cameron Cronin of Hyannis. She is also survived by her brother John O. Silvia of Seekonk.
Her funeral service will be held on Mon Dec 19 at 10 AM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
