Diane Rodenhiser 6/17/1942. Passed away peacefully at home on December 4th 2024. She was 82 years old. She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Paul M. Rodenhiser and is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Carroll (Paul) and Alison Rodenhiser. She has two grandchildren, Ashley Johnson and Blake Carroll.
Diane was a stay at home mother when her children were young. She was involved with The Junior New Century Club of Needham working on projects regarding child safety. She helped make parade floats for the Needham 4th of July parade that included her children. One memory was that of making a Sesame Street float that won a prize in the 70's. Diane also did seamstress work at home. She enjoyed it and always called it her hobby. Diane went to work for the Wool shop after her children were school aged. She was in management and loved working in the clothing business. She later moved on to other clothing stores such as Johnny Appleseed's and later in life David Brooks based out of New York. She was able to work from home and travel for meetings. She loved to travel.
Diane's other hobby was sailing. She had her own boat named Nefer, she would sail with her daughters and husband from time to time. Diane loved nature and enjoyed her cabin on Megunticook Lake in Camden Maine. Diane was loved by many, she is described as beautiful, energetic and independent. At the end of her life she was taken care by her daughter's. Kimberly Carroll was the fulltime caregiver while Alison Rodenhiser traveled from New Hampshire when she could and as needed.
Diane will be greatly missed by family, nieces, nephews and friends. She has gained her wings and is sailing in heavenly waters with her husband and friends who have passed on. That is what we spoke about the last few days and it made her smile.

A graveside service will be held on Wed Dec 11 at 11 AM in the Needham Cemetery,
