Domenic Farinella

Domenic "Dom" Farinella , age 69, of Canton, passed away, January 24, at home, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Elaine (Farulla) Farinella. Loving father of Christina Farinella, Angela Farinella and her husband Adrian Li, and Gina Farinella. Cherished Papa of Vito and Juliano Li. Brother of the late Marguerite and her husband Anthony Greco, Pasquale and his wife Catherine Farinella, and Rosalyn Long. Brother-in-law of Diane and Cal Fullerton, and Joseph and Brenda Farulla. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and an amazing group of friends, especially the BOYS!

Originally from Chelsea, he was involved in the West End House and Explorers. He moved to Canton with his family and built a community wherever he went. He gained close friends from school and through working at Ocean Spray, Putnam, Fidelity, and Enterprise.

Domenic loved spending time with his family, dancing to oldies while cooking, and shooting the breeze with friends. He was always listening and thinking of how to make others feel considered: from making sure your favorite beverage was on the table, to making family dreams come true. He had the right timing for working hard, resting, and comedic one-liners.

Visiting Hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, on Wednesday, January 29, from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church on Thursday, January 30, at 11:00am. Interment is private.
