Dorothy Ann (Frorillo) Lewis

Dorothy Ann (Frorillo) Lewis, 93 of Newton passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023. She was the wife of the late Gordon W. Lewis and is survived by her son Gordon W. Lewis, Jr. and his wife Gabriele of Boylston, and her twin daughters Dorothy A. and Deborah A. Lewis, both of Ashland. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Casey Lewis and Katrina Compoli and her husband Ryan.

She was the youngest child of the late Frank and Ann (Coviello) Frorillo and was predeceased by her siblings Alexander “Sundee”, Margaret, Lucy, Ralph, Michael, Susan, Gerard, and Francis. Dorothy was born in Cambridge and had been a resident of Newton since 1962. She graduated from Cambridge Latin and had worked as a bookkeeper at Brandeis University. 

She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her large extended family.

A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home at 465 Centre St., Newton Corner followed by a funeral service at the Newton Cemetery Chapel at 791 Walnut St., Newton Centre at 10 a.m.
