Edward Harrington

Edward Harrington of Newton Centre died at the Newton Wellesley Hospital on Oct 22, 2021.

Ed was the beloved husband of Janet (Cipriano) Harrington and brother of Margaret and her husband David Duran, Diane Harrington, and Gerald and his wife Susan Harrington and brother in law of Linda Devoll and her husband Cabot, and Michael Cipriano and his wife Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Ed served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a graduate of UMASS Amherst. He worked for the US Treasury for over 25 years then founded EJ Harrington Associates, a banking consulting firm in 1985. Ed loved swimming, golf, was a food and wine enthusiast and loved to grill and barbeque in the back yard.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed Oct 27 in Sacred Heart Church, Newton Centre, at 10:30 AM.   Interment with US Air Force Military Honors will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
