Elizabeth, known to her friends and family as Betty, was born to George and Natalie Ludwig on January 27, 1931 in Detroit, MI, returning to her parent’s hometown of Buffalo as a young child. After high school graduation she attended the University of Buffalo becoming a Medical Technologist.  It was there that she met the love of her life, a young WWII veteran and engineering student, Ralph A. Betty was an avid gardener and could coax anything to life!  She was a member of the Needham Garden Club and a faithful volunteer for the Cape Cod Horticultural Society.

Betty was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved attending important events in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by her sister, C.
