Elizabeth (Volante) Johnson

Elizabeth Volante Johnson was born in Brookline MA and met her future husband, Francis B. Johnson in Boston who predeceased her in 1995.  Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Carol and husband, Philip, her daughter Diane and husband, Steven, her son, Robert and wife, Heather, seven grandchildren, John, Kathryn, Michael, Zachary, Alexandra, Daniel and Leah, and three great grandchildren, Luna, Rex and Saylor.  

She volunteered for many years at Newton City Hall and Newton Senior Center until her mid 90’s where she enjoyed socializing and helping others.  Elizabeth died peacefully 2 months shy of her 100th birthday.  

A wake will be held on Fri June 17 from 4-7 PM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Help of Christians Church followed by interment in Newton Cemetery.
