Ellen E. (McInerney) Kaup

Ellen E. (McInerney) Kaup, 96, of Needham formerly of Brookline, passed away on Feb 9, 2021. She was 96.

Ellen was educated in Brookline, and attended Boston University and the Hickox School. She had a special interest in any groups that supported children, the blind and animals.

Ellen was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and James McInerney and devoted wife of the late Dr. John W. Kaup. She was the adoring aunt of Ann E. Rosata, James H. McInerney Jr., William F. McInerney Jr., Thomas D. McInerney and Timothy J. McInerney, Lee F. Kentros and the late Susan J. McInerney and Paul McInerney, grand aunt to many nieces and nephews and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral Mass was held in St. Bartholomew Church in Needham followed by interment in her family lot in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.

In Ellen’s memory a donation to the Shriners Hospital 51 Blossom St Boston, MA 02114 of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
