Emily "Neenie" (Fletcher) Hulse

Emily (Fletcher) Hulse, known and loved by her family as Neenie, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Saturday June 5 ,2010. . She was a lifelong resident of Needham, and grew up on her family’s Fletcher Farm on Central Avenue. A lover of natural beauty and gardening, her yard was always abundant with flowers and vegetables. She was happiest entertaining family and friends at home. She was married for 61 years to her beloved husband Miles and is survived by her dear sister, Barbara, four daughters – Linda, Lorna, Leslie and Lucy, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the Heart of our Home. A memorial service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Thursday June 10th at 1:00 PM. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 11 AM -1 PM prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Massachusetts Horticultural Society at Elm Bank, 900 Washington Street, Wellesley MA 02482, or to the Massachusetts Audubon Society, 208 South Great Road, Lincoln MA 01773.
