Florence "Dolly" Romano

Florence Dolly Romano of Boston MA passed away on her 101st birthday (May 8, 1923 - May 8, 2024) Daughter of Leo and Elvira, Deuterio, wife of Donald S Romano of Malden, MA, loving mother of Janice Ricardo, Anne Romano, and Carolyn Griffin.

Dolly attended Brighton high school and went on to Boston business school. She worked in the Boston area as well as Polaroid during the war, until the time she married and became a mother.

She loved her family life and spent many hours around the dining room table, sharing  stories, playing cards, eating, and drinking good wine Italian style. She loved traveling with her husband who worked for Mitre Corp.  She enjoyed the finer things in life including gems & jewelry and fine art. 

There will be visiting hours on Fri May 17 from 5-8 PM and her funeral Mass will be held on Sat May 18 at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Newton Centre followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
