Francisco Enrique Aguilera
Born May 1, 1943 - died July 31, 2023
Frank "Paco" was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended the Miquon School, Germantown Friends School, and the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a BA, MA, and PhD in Anthropology. He did his doctoral research in Almonaster La Real, Spain and wrote a book on the subject, Saint Eulalia’s People. He taught at Boston University and McGill University, worked in South America and Pakistan as a consultant, and worked for the Department of Employment and Training in Boston. He then went on to be the Director of Training for Liberty International. He was an accomplished carpenter, horseman, singer, and could fix anything for his grandchildren.
More than his achievements, he was a kind, good, and much-loved man who embraced life with enthusiasm.
He is survived by his wife, two children, six grandchildren, a brother, and two sisters.
