Gerald P. Bellomo

Gerald P. “Gerry” Bellomo, a lifelong Needham resident, passed away at his home on July 1, 2025.

Gerry graduated from Needham High School and received his degree in electrical engineering from Mass Maritime Academy and served i as a LT in the US Navy. He worked for Stone & Webster, Crosspoint Engineering in Westwood and was a Project Engineer for Distrigas in Everett. Gerry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Gerry was the son of the late Needham Fire Chief Charles and Antoinette Bellomo and is survived by his wife Maureen (Favreau) Bellomo, his sons Charles G. and Gerald P. “Gerry” Bellomo both of Needham and brother of Frank Bellomo and his wife Meg of Attleboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs July 10 at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Needham followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wed from 4-7 PM.
