Geraldine A. "Gerry" (Hartford) Duffy a resident of Needham for 55 years died on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Born in Boston, Geraldine grew up in Roxbury where she graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School. Gerry was the Secretary for the Chief Engineer of Holtzer- Cabot Company in Roxbury until 1951. She married her husband Leonard of 64 years in 1947. In her earlier years she enjoyed flowers and gardening, especially her vegetable garden. Gerry was also an avid collector of antique dolls. Gerry was the beloved wife of Leonard A. Duffy. Loving mother of Richard A. and his wife Daissy of Falmouth, Marilyn D. and her husband John "Frank" Osborne Jr. of No Falmouth, Steven R. and his wife Wendy Christison of No Easton, Paul V. and his wife Alba Duffy of Wareham and Kevin J. and his wife Michelle Duffy of Milford. Sister of Joan McHallam of Dedham, Raymond Hartford of Everett and the late Jacqueline Kelley and Jean Sliwa. Dear grandmother of John F. Osborne III, Jeffrey P. Osborne and Kyle Duffy. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Monday Jan. 16th at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church in Needham at 11:30 am. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 10-11:15 am prior to the Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Susan G.
