Helen Cox Colman born April 29, 1929 in Needham, MA. Daughter of the late Judge Gilbert W.C. Cox Sr. & Verna O. Cox, wife for 66 years of James “Mel” Colman, mother of Richard D. Colman & Robert A. Colman & wife Amelia. Grandmother to Kim, Laura, Jenny, Emily, Theodore and Winslow Colman. Sister of Gilbert W. Cox Jr.

Graduate of Beaver Country Day & Skidmore College. Buyer for Filene’s of Boston, avid swimmer and teacher at the YMCA, active in Republican politics and a lifetime member of the Needham Golf Club.

Service will be private.
