Irma Abraham Obituary

Irma (Engelbrecht) Abraham of Wellesley died on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Avery Manor in Needham. She was 85 years old. Born in Boston, Irma grew up in Roslindale. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. Her main occupation was as a loving wife and mother. Irma enjoyed gardening and traveling around the world with her family. The beloved wife of George Abraham, she was the loving mother Edith Lemire and her husband Bruce of Goffstown NH, Helen Trumbour and her husband Jon Sellow of Sherborn, Arthur Abraham of Tyngsboro, Carol Hall and her husband Andrew of Tunbridge VT and the late Susan Abraham and her late husband Dick Lamphere. Mother in law of the late Dennis Trumbour. Sister of Arthur Engelbrecht and his wife Barbara of South Africa. Grandmother of Dennis Trumbour and his wife Mara, Johanna and Melissa Trumbour. Aunt of Virginia McGrail, Maureen, Douglas and Robert Engelbrecht. Funeral Services will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church 543 Greendale Ave Needham on Tuesday, December 21 at 10Am. Relatives and friends are kindly invite to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. In lieu of flowers donations in Irma’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown MA 02472.
