Jane (Murphy) Bolling, 60, of Needham July 14, 1951 – January 7, 2012. Beloved wife of William James Bolling. Loving mother of Ann Marie and Brian James Bolling. Daughter of the late John Diehl Murphy. Sister of Sarah Murphy and her husband Jim Vlachos of Wellesley, Beth Murphy and her husband Rogier Henny of Portland ME and the late John Diehl Murphy Jr. Worked from 1976- 1982 as the Foreign Service Secretary, U.S. Department of State with the following assignments; 1980-1982 American Embassy, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1977-1979, American Embassy, London, 1976-1977, Secretary of the Peoples' Republic of China Desk, Washington, D.C. Active duty with the Women's Army Corps, 1972. Member of the United States Army Reserve, 1972-1983. Graduate of Texas Christian University, B. A. degree, 1973, attended Katharine Gibbs Course for College Women, 1974. Travelled as an exchange student to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1967 and Lima, Peru, 1968. Member Skye Terrier Club of America and Ladies Dog Club. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wednesday, January 11 from 4-7 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Services are private. In lieu of flowers donations in Jane's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
