Jeanne Marie Ciolfi

Jeanne Marie Ciolfi, beloved mother and grandmother, of Needham, MA, passed away peacefully in Naples, FL on February 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 17, 1936, in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Margaret Kennedy and Francis J. Moriarty.  Jeanne resided in Needham for 63 years and spent the winter months in Naples FL for the past 26 years.  She grew up in West Roxbury, attended St. Theresa of Avila Grammar School and Mount Alvernia High School before studying Mathematics at Emmanuel College. She had a long and successful career at GTE/Sylvania before spending her retirement years at The Vineyards Country Club in Naples, FL.

Jeanne was a devoted mother to Eugene and his wife Patricia, Jennifer Doonan and her husband Timothy and Janice Doyle and her husband Douglas. She was the beloved grandmother to Nicole, Kelly, Carolyn, Katherine, Sarah and Joseph.  She was preceded in death by her best friend and loving husband of 52 years, Eugene S. Ciolfi.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Sunday Mar 1 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and her Mass of Christian Burial  in St. Joseph Church on Monday March 2nd at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA
