Joan C. (Smith) LaBelle

Joan C. (Smith) LaBelle of Needham, died on Friday July 29, 2011 at her home. She was 71 years old. Mrs. LaBelle was an active, faith filled parishioner of Saint Joseph Church. She loved to read, cook and bake. Mrs. LaBelle was an accomplished quilter and an avid Red Sox fan. She was the beloved wife of Lionel E. LaBelle and loving mother of Gerard L. of Bellevue WA, Maria J. of Wake Forest NC and Michael E. of Quincy. Joan was the sister of Shirley Mae, Donna, Concetta and Maureen. Her Funeral will be held from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Wed. August 3 at 9AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Tues. for 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Needham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Joan’s name may be made to Susan G.
