Joanne Maki (Bunnell) Cook of Needham, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on Saturday, November 11th. She was the loving mother of Benjamin Maki and his wife Marissa, Angela Maki and her fiance Russell LaPoint, Colleen Cook, and the late David Pichetti. Loving Nana to Charlie and Alison Maki. Life partner to Kevin Pichetti. Beloved sister of Karen Mulvey and her husband Martin, Theodore Bunnell and his wife Donna, Thomas Bunnell and his wife Lynne, Mary Faulkner and her husband Steven, and the late Frederick J. Bunnell Jr. Daughter of the late Frederick J. and Alice Bunnell. Aunt to many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Also survived by many cousins and several devoted friends.
Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday November 16 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph Church, 1360 Highland Ave, Needham on Friday at 11am. Interment to follow at St, Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne’s name may be made to the American SIDS Institute (www.sids.org)
