John M. Needham

John M. Needham of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville passed away on October 19, 2025.

Beloved husband for 67 years of the late Lucy Needham. Loving father of John “Jack” Jr. and his wife Kyle, Stephen and his wife Linda, Lisa Shaheen and her husband Bob, Maria McGrady and Robert and his wife Laurie. Loving Grandfather of Ashley Molloy and her husband Andy, Jonathan and his wife Nikki, Nicole Mele and her husband Brandon, Jessica, Stephen, Tayla Marifiote and her husband Joey, Tiffany Shaheen, Lani McGrady, Robert Jr. and his wife Katie, Brett and Jake.  Also survived by great grandchildren Aiden, Keira, Owen and Keegan Molloy, Harrison, Thomas and Cooper Needham, Luciana and Valentina Marifiote, Rylan and Evelyn Mele, Luca Needham-Melendez and Wesley Needham, many nieces and nephews and his longtime caretakers Asni “Darzby” Hailu and Josephine Sayete.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 9 AM in St. Patrick Church 71 Central Street, Stoneham, MA. Following the Mass, his family will host a luncheon to celebrate his life.
